Should Delhi 2010 Upcycle?

22 Aug

Here’s where we’re at: earlier this year, the Delhi Government estimated the Games will produce around 3000 tonnes of waste.

In May, we met with the Delhi 2010 Organising Committee to set up this project. Although they’re interested, they are yet to officially say yes to giving us any Games waste.

We’ll be meeting with them again in early September to get the final go ahead.

Rather than seeing waste from the Games end up in landfill, you can help us show the Delhi 2010 organisers that this project has public support by:

1. registering your voice by voting on our ‘Should Delhi 2010 Upcycle’ poll (to the right of this post)

2. subscribing to our blog or following us on Twitter or Facebook

3. forwarding this blog on to those who’d like to see ‘good things made out of Games waste!’
